Wanted to give you a head’s up that our editors (at Amazon.com) have selected the Old 97’s Wreck Your Life as a daily deal that we will run on February 2/22.  With our daily deals, we highly discount a title to customers, but still pay our label partners full cost on each sale. Our daily deals drive huge sales lifts (often in excess of 1000%), and we usually see a halo effect where the artist’s other titles float up in our personalization and search engines based on the sales traffic.  So it’s a great thing when your titles are selected!

We do ask that you work with us to help let fans know about the discounts.   Our label partners will usually post messages on artist sites, fan lists, MySpace pages, etc to let fans know that they can purchase the title at a huge discount for one day.
