Bid on Original BIOG Artwork by Jayme Nourallah
The original 24" X 48" acrylic painting used for the cover and booklet for Blame it on Gravity is being auctioned on Ebay by it's creator, Jayme Nourallah. Jayme is a Dallas based artist and prominent photographer who also happens to be the wife of Old 97's producer, Salim Nourallah. The auction starts on Thursday June 12 and ends on Sunday June 22. As promised, more dates have been confirmed for the Blame It On Gravity tour. These include another stop in N. Carolina, as well as stops in Virginia, DC, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts. The Old97s.com Store is currently pre-selling tickets to all these shows. Check out the Tour page for date and venue information, and then head over to the Tickets page in the Store to pick up your tickets now.
Presale tickets are also still available for shows in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Delaware and the guys' other dates in N. Carolina. Most of these presales will be ending on Friday, so get your tickets now, before they go on sale to the public.

Dance With Me Music Video Shoot

New Dates, Presales for Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, N. Carolina and Delaware
Six more dates have been added to the Blame It On Gravity tour and the Old97s.com Store is now holding ticket presales for five of them. These shows will be held in Helotes, TX (July 18), Atlanta, GA (July 22), Nashville, TN (July 23), Charlotte, NC (July 25) and Dewey Beach, DE (July 31). The six date, July 26 at Moore Square Park in Raleigh, NC, is a free event, with no ticket required.

Old97s.com Makeover and Message Boards
In celebration of Blame It On Gravity's release, Old97s.com has undergone a major makeover. In addition to changing the look of the site, the feature we're most excited to announce is our new message board. Here you can talk to other Old 97's fans about the new album, past releases, shows you're going to or have attended, and just about anything else that comes to mind. Feel free to post pictures and participate in naming the forum and forum sections. If you get stuck along away, you can always contact one of the board's moderators for help: Chris (username 'Daisy'), Morgan (username 'lovelymorgan') and our senior mod Frank from HitByATrain.com (username 'HitByATrain') participated in testing the forum features and are all huge 97's fans.

Two New Dates, Two New Ticket Presales
Two more dates have been added to the Blame It On Gravity tour and with them two new ticket presales. The guys will now be playing at the House of Blues in New Orleans, LA, on July 19 and at the WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham, AL on July 21. Presale tickets for both shows are now available through the Old97s.com Store.

Blame It On Gravity
You've heard the album on Rhapsody.com and read the fantastic reviews that have come out so far, and tomorrow, May 13, Blame It On Gravity will officially be released. If you live in the Dallas area, head over to The Granada Theater for the album's official release party tomorrow night. The guys will be there (but not performing), the 40-minute DVD from the deluxe edition of BIOG will be screened and, best of all, it's free and there are no tickets required. The party starts at 7pm, but we recommend getting there early to make sure you can get in.

New Dates Added
Two more dates have been added to the Blame It On Gravity tour. The guys will be playing in the Waterfest Concert Series in Oshkosh, WI on June 26, and at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI on June 28. A CD release party has also been added to the schedule. This is a free event that the Old 97's will be at.
