Ten inches of rain in two days. The weather itself wasn't that bad (no wind, no lightning, etc) it just rained and rained. Luckily no water in the basement. Are you in Des Plaines? I heard the river rose five feet and both Rand and River Roads are under water. Absolutely unbelievable.

Murray's show was great last night.  All his songs are very heartfelt and visual.  He was all by himself.  We even got him to sign the poster and CD and my wife asked for the setlist which we got as well.  Above all he just seemed like a really nice down to earth guy.

The show was indeed awesome. I saw your wife get the setlist - my wife and I were sitting across the aisle from you. I am going to try and post some photos from the show a little bit later.

Hello. We were in the first row. This was our first time at Schubas and what a great place to see such an intimate show. The room sure looked like it was once used as a church - if it wasn't I'd be very surprised.

Ah ok I think I saw you than, I think I gave you my camera and it wasnt working. If it was you, thanks for trying to get that thing working. It is a very very old camera. So it takes it a while for it to take a picture.

Yes, it was. My apologies about the camera; I really thought I had taken three pictures of you and Murry. I hope the picture you took on your own turned out good. When the sound guy was taking pictures of my wife and I with Murry he was having the same trouble with our camera.

Ha ha ha its ok, thanks for the effort. That camera is about 4 years old now, so its about time to get a new one. The one I took in the end came out just fine. Did your pictures come out ok in the end? Who else was at that show.I talked to 2 guys from southern IL who said they read about this show on the forums as well.

    Re: Hey y'all from Chicagoland

The pictures with Murry turned out great. The ones I took of him on stage are so-so. I am sure if I would have used the flash they would have turned out better but I didn't want to distract him. The ones of him playing the harmonium turned out best since he was in brighter light. The wife and I exchanged hellos and shared casual comments with the people around us but nothing in depth. We have two young daughters so we were thrilled to have a night out together and catch up. However, it was a very nice crowd.
