Doreen from Athens Ga. saw the Old 97's at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta. My first show and I loved it! Been a fan for about 6 years. Was turned on to the Old 97's by a much younger friend ( I am 53 ) because he thought I might like the song "Doreen". Also where I work  King Of All The World was on our muzac at work and my friend kept pointing the song out to me. After I saw the band in Atlanta I got on line to see where else they were touring so I could catch a show. Gathered two of my girlfriends (who are even older than me) and we took off for Raliegh N.C. to see the band play a free show in the park downtown. Drove  7 hrs there and back and it was worth it! Had a great time. Now I see the band is coming to Athens Ga.  in Oct. You die hard fans need to come to Athens it's a great, funky little college town. I enjoy it and I'm old! See you in Athens!

OMG, that's so funny, I just saw my first live show too, and their coming back here too, so I get to go two more times, it flippin rocks! I love it, I love it, I love it:)
