This is kind of a weird arrangement...I'm from Shreveport, and the CMT Crossroads Bar is in the Horseshoe Casino, but it's not a very large stage/venue at all (admission is free, however).

I'm wondering how many folks will be there to see the band...there hasn't been much advertising and Willie Nelson is playing the same night, too, in another part of the Casino.

Either way, my plan is to advantage of the smaller venue and have a great night!

Thanks.  We're leaving Dallas around 2pm.  My wife and I have tickets to Willie but plan to ditch them to see the guys -- for free!  Folks at CMT tell me Old 97's will be in the Bar from 9 to 11.  Seats are limited and open to first arrivals.  We'll be there early.

I just got a MySpace message from a friend in Shreveport who said he and some of his friends were reserving a table there to ensure their spots and have a good view. I have no idea how it's set up or how much it is to do that, but FYI if you're concerned about it filling up or such.
